Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Cyprus, Apella Games is a humble, yet hungry assembly of passionate video game industry veterans.

Our mission is simple: create impactful, kick-ass F2P games across PC and Consoles.

We’re all about cross-generational, cross-platform fun, and combining accessibility with a depth of mechanics that can be discovered and mastered. We keep it gameplay-first, yet understand the importance of building captivating worlds to dive into, and characters to embody.

Responsibilities

• Implement, optimize and debug crucial systems in Unreal Engine;

• Maintain the structural integrity of the code architecture and technical design;

• Identify performance bottlenecks and possible solutions;

• Write clear, maintainable, scalable, and highly functional code;

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a game development engineer, UE4 developer, or comparative role with 2+ years of experience in a Senior or Lead position;

• Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills;

• Proficiency in C++;

• Good general knowledge of all areas of real-time interactive software development, including 3D real-time rendering, collisions & physics systems, networking, artificial intelligence, animation, audio, gameplay logic, and user interfaces;

• Strong computer science foundation, good math and physics knowledge;

• Extensive experience and a passion for performance analysis and code optimization;

• Intermediate and above English level;
