Technical Artist

We are looking for a Tech Artist to join our team full-time. The specialist will be responsible for modeling and setting up scenes in Unity, ensuring both technical functionality and artistic quality. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics and a deep understanding of Unity’s capabilities.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create and model 3D assets and environments for Unity projects.

• Set up and optimize scenes in Unity, ensuring proper lighting, textures, and materials.

• Work closely with designers and developers to ensure the technical requirements and artistic vision align.

• Maintain a balance between technical constraints and artistic direction.

• Optimize assets and scenes for performance, ensuring smooth operation across different platforms.

• Collaborate with the animation team to integrate assets and ensure they are ready for animation.

• Provide technical guidance on asset creation and scene management to the team.

• Keep up to date with new Unity features and tools to enhance workflow efficiency and quality.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tech Artist or in a similar role, with expertise in Unity.

• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, scene setup, lighting, and optimization in Unity.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) and Unity’s asset pipeline.

• Strong aesthetic sense and the ability to balance artistic vision with technical limitations.

• Experience optimizing assets for mobile and desktop platforms.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
