Principal UE Developer

Values Value, a recruiting company with extensive expertise in game dev, is looking for an experienced Principal UE Developer for our client, web3 focused game developer with an AAA metaverse project. Their talented team consists of professionals who have previously worked at renowned companies such as Ubisoft, EA Games, Microsoft Studios, Marvel, Lucasfilm Games, and more. Their expertise and passion drive the mission to create a groundbreaking virtual world that captivates and empowers its users.

We are looking for a strong specialist with knowledge of a variety of game systems implementation with Unreal Engine and experience setting up or collaborating with other engineers implementing multiple systems for scalable game projects.

What are you working on?

• Genres: MMO, Adventure
• Platforms: PC

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Collaborate closely with art, design and development teams ensuring both visual and functional requirements are met

• Implement diverse game systems for prototyping and beyond

• Optimise and improve existing systems (including but not limited to gameplay, AI, data management etc)

• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine and improvements

• Debugging and profiling

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Experience as UE Developer for at least 5 years

• Participating in building an MMO, Metaverse or a AAA project 

• Experienced using Unreal Engine 5

• Delivering timely prototypes, working in cross-discipline teams

• Experience implementing scalable solutions

• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English

Nice to have/Preferred/Bonus skills:

• Working Knowledge of C++

• Experience with blockchain project

• Experienced in optimising, profiling and debugging in Unreal Engine 5

• Developing engine editor tools
